Written by the ever-popular Martin Lynch and comedy duo Grimes & McKee – who also star in the show – The History Of The Troubles (accordin’ to my Da) has achieved truly legendary status. The play takes you through Gerry Courtney’s struggle to retain his sanity against the chaos in this frenetic, hilarious laugh-a-minute comedy covering the Northern Irish troubles.

Seen by over 100,000 people in Dublin, London, and all points in between, the show has played to full houses at the Grand Opera House an incredible 8 times, the last being 10 years ago.
