The six Miami Showband cast members hit the streets of Belfast late last week along with their instruments much to the shock of the city shoppers. The had a whistle stop tour of the city and visited a number of iconic sites. Their first stop was the Belfast's Big Fish, then onto The Band Stand at Victoria Square Shopping Centre, They continued through into Cornmarket and proceeded to serenade the crowd with From The Candy Store On The Corner To The Chapel On The Hill. Two stops left including stopping the traffic at Royal Avenue for a backdrop of the Belfast's City Hall and finally at our final destination The Grand Opera House, Belfast.
The Miami Showband Story by Marie Jones & Martin Lynch opens on Thursday 8th August at The Grand Opera House, before embarking on an All Ireland Tour. More details can be found on our home page.
