Standing Ovation

The Miami Showband Story opened to standing ovations in The Grand Opera House, Belfast. Press night took place on Friday 9th August with rave reviews from local newspapers and patrons.

"Outstanding" "Chilling" IRISH NEWS

"Gary Crossan’s portrayal of the once wise-cracking Lee unravelling as he tried to cope with the shocking events of 1975 was, for me, the stand out performance of the show. Other favourites for me were Niall McNamee as the talented and adored Fran O’Toole and Chris Mohan as the swaggering Dickie Rock." NEWSLETTER

"Just left the Matinee performance. Sensational , terrific , outstanding , marvellous. Brilliantly written by Marie Jones & Martin Lynch. The audience were on their feet well before the amazing climax. Quote of the Show was when Des Lee said to the ghost of the murdered frontman Fran O’Toole , “ Our music didn’t change the world Fran , but it brought people together & made them happy, if only for one night"
If you haven’t got a ticket , get one quick , if you have , you’re in for one helluva night !!"
